Freak — Local services in Catania

I went to the store today looking for nice secondhand stuff. Forst of all i was impressed by the ammount of items they really have something for every taste which i really enjoyed. But the bad part, i work in a clothing store as well as an employee, so i dont wanna blame the employees they probably just do what they’re told to, they were nice, but they are following you everywhere and you really feel like they think you steal something. I know its hard from my own experience but this was in a really harsh way, installing cameras or putting security’s tags would really be a good way to solve this. Anyways i am really careful with the clothing piles since i know how customers can be and destroy all nice folded items i know the struggle but i was so gentle put everything where it belonged again i can fold really well i didn’t do any mess at all and still the employee came up to me took the clothes i wanted to buy and told me i cant touch one stack cuz everything is sorted, i always put everything back where it belonged and what kind of shop is this if i cant touch some 25€ stacks of shirts?? She treated me like i messed up the whole store even tho i was putting everything nice folded back where it belonged and her looks really made me feel uncomfortable there. And last but not least the prices excuse me?! Vintage crewneck sweater from adidas st. louis olympiade for… shocking crazy 280€?? this pricing there is really messed up when you think about the state of some of the items as well… overall i dont blame the employees they just do what they’re told to i just hope the store owner/ manager rethinks about how to make a customer comeback and feeling comfortable over all. again no one wasnt nice there to me you just feel like they rather want you to not be there and you feel like a thief even tho there is no reason behind it and thats what should be rethought...

È da anni, ormai, che la policy nei confronti dei clienti prevede che gli oggetti acquistati, in caso di ripensamento, vengano cambiati o sostituiti con un buono di egual valore e, in molti negozi, persino interamente rimborsati. Non è il caso di questo esercizio commerciale, dove, se vuoi comprare (e a caro prezzo), è bene che abbia le idee chiare, perché se torni e chiedi gentilmente di avere un buono in cambio, vieni apostrofato dal titolare come uno che "vuole prendere in giro". Questi i fatti: mia figlia, il 31 ottobre pomeriggio, aveva acquistato un paio di bermuda neri, una felpa rossa smanicata e una cintura, con la fretta e l'entusiasmo che può avere un'adolescente che voglia sentirsi a proprio agio ad una festa e ha poco tempo a disposizione; che poi fosse una festa di Halloween lo ritengo ininfluente perché non aveva certo comprato un vestito da pirata o da zombie, ma degli abiti comuni che, peraltro, aveva scelto con l'intenzione di indossare nel quotidiano. Purtroppo però se n'è pentita subito, perché la taglia, soprattutto dei bermuda, è risultata sin troppo abbondante. Ebbene, siamo tornati in negozio dopo tre giorni e, dietro la nostra richiesta di restituire i capi in cambio di un buono, il titolare ci ha detto di non prenderlo in giro, perché quanto acquistato era servito per una festa di Halloween e che, con un buono in cambio, avremmo potuto comprare vestiti per tutto l'anno. A nulla è valso cercare di spiegare che, quanto acquistato, non era un travestimento da frankenstein o da vampiro che, effettivamente, non sono abiti casual a meno che uno non voglia vestire eccentrico: la richiesta, ai suoi occhi, a quanto pare risultava eccessiva e tendenziosa e si è assolutamente rifiutato di venirci incontro. L'aspetto più sgradevole della vicenda, però, è stato il suo modo arrogante, sprezzante e accusatorio di porgersi. Niente, mi sono  sentito talmente offeso, che ho preso i suoi preziosi capi e glieli ho lasciati sul bancone con la ferma intenzione di non tornarvi mai più. Really loved this vintage store! They have sooo many items! The employees and owner are super nice and are very eager to help! Usually, I prefere to look on my own, but in this store I was happy to get the help of the employees, because they know where everything is! The girl who works there found me a stunning skirt, I think I would not have found without her help! After trying many skirts which didn't fit, I was about to give up but she found me the perfect one with the perfect lenght and in very good condition too! Will tell my friends to go there when they are...
