Such a great experience! I was looking for a leather jacket in Florence and made a short list of recommended places. Jimmy's was the second store we went into. We were greeted by Johnny, who was absolutely wonderful! He had such fun energy, wasn't pushy, and just wanted to help me try on jackets. I gave him an image of what I was looking for. He brought out several jackets for me to try on. Without taking measurements, every single one fit like a glove. The leather was gorgeous and so soft. He showed me styles and colors I hadn't considered (that turned out I loved). For kicks, my wife tried on some jackets. All turned out to be incredible. We were offered cappuccino and treated so well. My wife said the service was like shopping for wedding dresses.

I'm a picky buyer and was planning on going to multiple stores and then coming back. Johnny said we totally should and didn't push us in the least to buy now. At some point my wife and I realized we had already found the perfect jackets. We were able to negotiate a fantastic price for both. I'm talking like 30% what we would've paid in the US for far superior jackets. Jimmy, the owner, ok'd the prices and was also super friendly.

The time flew by and at the end we realized Johnny had spent 3 hours of us his undivided time with us, missing lunch and everything. Johnny was amazing!

We unfortunately got caught in a rainstorm later in our trip and the jackets got soaked! I worked with Jimmy via email on how to restore them back to their original quality. He's sending me videos and such. Since they're quality leather, they've fortunately returned to their original softness and quality. Cheap jackets would've been ruined. I really appreciate the service even after the sale.

Believe the high reviews for this shop! Today, my husband and I had the pleasure of meeting Mario, and to our surprise, we left with three exquisite jackets and two belts!

Initially, I was hesitant to make a purchase due to the pushy nature of some market vendors, especially with concerns about the authenticity of post-COVID products. We are from Australia so we weren’t sure where to purchase leather goods from. However, Mario never once made us feel pressured.

Mario treated us like family, which was incredibly refreshing. Unlike other sellers, he didn't just sell for the sake of it; instead, he took the time to share the story behind their leather products, proudly designed and crafted here in Firenze. His passion was genuine and added a unique and special touch to our shopping experience.

Mario's humor and thoughtfulness even managed to turn my anti-leather jacket husband into a fan! He walked away with one jacket, and I couldn't resist getting two unique jackets for myself. To top it off, Mario graciously fitted both of us with belts free of charge—a personalised touch that we'll cherish forever.

Johnny is a stellar stylist. When he first saw my wife and I, he knew exactly what style/ color would suit us best. His suggestions lead me to a jacket and color that I really enjoy. He also recommended a style and color to my wife that she would normally not wear but ended up falling in love with.

The leather of both jackets is soft, buttery, and smooth. The color is deep and beautiful.

We ended to getting a fair price for both jackets (assuming the quality is as good as claimed).

The quality seems legit, but only time will tell. I am hopeful that they are what they seem. I will revisit my review with a 6-8 month update and photos (it’s too hot to wear them now)

Edit/Update March 2024 My wife still loves her jacket. Once I started wearing mine I realized it was a size too small. I reached out to the shop and they agreed to give me a larger size. I paid the shipping to Italy and they paid the duties/taxes and shipped me a lager jacket for free! Excellent customer service. After a few months of wear the jackets still look and feel amazing.
