Eat lunch here - not at the central market!!!

Yesterday we had lunch at the central market and on our way there, my wife spotted this little bistro and I noticed the fantastic beer selection.

Well our lunch at the market cost about €45 and was anarchic with frankly forgettable selections of stuffed focaccia, ribs and charcuterie.

Today we decided to eat at Sabani Bistro… it was everything that the market was not: peaceful, clean, personal, delicious and welcoming!! Eat here!

My son and I both had the steak taglietta, my wife enjoyed the osso bucco. I had two delightful (small) German beers and my wife had a HUGE pour of Chianti. All for €65 euro.

The service was great… the food was great… the beers and wine were great. We had a private table. It was warm and inviting. They had a spotlessly clean bathroom.

Came here to buy a leather jacket, if I could give the service 6 stars I would. I came in with a specific idea of what I wanted and the shop had a massive selection, the salesman took me directly to what I asked for. He was not pushy at all as I wasn’t ready to buy that day. It ended up being the best quality jacket after I tried on many, and since I bought an oversized jacket, they shortened the sleeves to my measurements so I didn’t need to cuff them. After wearing the jacket around a day I realized the lining showed oddly since the jacket was made for someone larger (as I bought oversized intentionally) I took it back and they took in the lining to fit me better free of charge. I was on a two-week biz-trip and visited almost every leather shop in Florence in search of a good-quality leather wallet. Among all the places I explored, this shop had the best leather quality and the most diverse designs. They also had a great selection of simple cardholders, which was exactly what I was looking for. In the end, my colleague and I spent several hundred euros here on wallets. The owner was incredibly friendly and charming, which made the shopping experience even better.
