Farmacia Spaccanapoli — Local services in Naples

I would give 0 Stars if it would be possible. The worst swindlers in that pharmacy! I wanted to buy a Hand cream and Pantoprazol and they wanted 23 euros for both. I payd it but afterwards I was a bit suspicious. I didn't know about the price of Pantoprazol but I could imagine that this Hand cream + Pantoprazol normally is not that expensive (they told me it was 11 euros for a small hand cream which I already bought elsewhere and normally is not a lot more than 8!). So when they did NOT give me the receipt i asked for it and they gave me a receipt where only the end price of both was written (23 euros without a name of any product). When i asked for the price of each of those products they were getting really nervous and the one guy offered me a discount right away without showing me the price in their system. As I payd the 23 euros by credit card they gave me 3 euros cash. You can make your own conclusion but I prefer to never go back there. Die Achse und das Rückgrat der Napolitanischen Altstadt

Die Via San Gregorio Armeno (Das ist die Gasse mit den vielen Weihnachtsgeschäften) herunter laufen bis zu ihrem Ende. Dort ist eine kleine Kreuzung. An der rechts abbiegen. Was nun folgt, ist über weite Strecken keine Straße, auch keine Gasse, sondern eine Schlucht zwischen Häusern- die Achse und der Brennpunkt der Altstadt!

Zwar quält sich hier eine endlose Prozession von Touristen entlang- aber dennoch herrscht hier das normale Leben der Neapolitanischen Antstadt - auf dem weitgehend unverändertem Grundriß der griechischen Stadt wurden mehr oder weniger neue Häuser errichtet, so daß auf 100 m Länge locker 3 bis 4 architektonische Epochen zu sehen sind.

Es gibt Touristengeschäfte, aber auch normale Läden und Restaurants, in denen die Einheimischen einkaufen. Entlang der ganzen Straße viele kleine und große Kirchen aus verschiedenen Epochen - die Fresken ansehen!

Das wichtigste ist auch hier, sich Zeit zu nehmen! Bei den meisten mehrtägigen Besuchen in der Stadt sollte man die geführten Rundgänge nutzen, sich einen Überblick zu verschaffen, dann aber unbedingt ohne Zeitdruck noch einmal für sich hier entlanggehen.

Vorsicht! Normales Leben heißt auch: Autos, Motorräder u. a. Alles quält isch durch die enge Gasse auf dem alten Pflaster. Die Einheimischen sind sehr geduldig, schätzen aber Aufmerksamkeit und Rücksicht. Das hat man aber nach wenigen...

As an Italian who lived abroad I would like to explain to all the tourists who stop by that the prices in Italy are established by the pharmaceutical companies and they are much higher than any other country. The pharmacy doesn’t overcharge you because you are a foreigner, they just charge you the price already...
