porto di Catania

Nice little area, just a few minutes from the train station. We sat at a restaraunt for awhile, just watching the boats, then walked out onto the pier at sunset. Very peaceful place to sit and contemplate the world around you....

Ein ganz normaler Hafen wo man zu Fuß das Schiff erreichen kann. Allerdings muss man aufpassen wo man hintrit, da der Boden stark beschädigt ist. Noch schlimmer ist es in der Stadt. Auf meiner Reise ist das die schmutzigste und mit Ruinen übersäte Stadt überhaupt. Und man soll nicht behaupten, daß es Touristen Müll ist, denn es ist überwiegend Hausmüll. Was ich auch noch schlimm finde, ist das auf vielen Bürgersteigen die Autos geparkt werden und die Passanten dann auf der Straße weiter laufen müssen. Einen TÜV scheint es hier auch nicht zu geben, denn dafür fährt hier zuviel Schrott auf den Straßen. Ich kann nur sagen:...

Il porto di Catania è un porto per lo più commerciale quindi è pieno di tir e camion che rovinano la paesaggistica purtroppo, e lo rendono poco sicuro per passeggiare con i bambini. Sono pochi i moli turistici dove si trovano barche a vela e motore. E solo lì si sente la vera atmosfera romantica e nautica di un vero "porto". I moli però sono tutti privati ed è vietato l'accesso ai non soci dei club. Il porto ha diversi bar/snack bar con servizi pubblici. È possibile accedere all interno con la propria auto tranne il fine settimana, che è possibile entrare...
