This restaurant is the absolute best we have visited in Catania.

Amazing service, the people tried everything to understand us (my Italian is very very bad, our waiter didn't speak english), communicate with us! They are very good in Pantomy.. 😊 We had a lot of fund together.

I am vegetarian and that is not that common in Sicilia. I did asked if the chef could make me a vegetarian burger, because they did looked so delicious. I didn't expect a lot, may they just don't tuck the meat in the burger.. BUT I was amazed! The chef did make me a completly new patty! First he asked what would be a no go, then the burger came and he made a vegetarian patty out of nowhere. And honestly.. It was the best vegetarian burger I ever ate! I am amazed by this simple but very very kind gesture of service and respect for my wishes. I couldn't get enough of the burger and would have took a second one, if my pants wouldn't have been about to explode.. 😅 But then the desserts arrived... And it was even better than it looked like!

This small family place got recommended to us by our host here in Catania. (they have privat connections to the owner of the restaurant)

They treated us like family, gave recommendations and explanations to the menu and each dish (in English)

We ordered a big plate of the antipasti, typical to the sicilian cuisine alongside some foccacia.

Portion was enough to feed two people easily and we even got a compliment on the house: a small plate of freshly made pasta filled with grilled vegetables in a nice pan sauce.

All in all an incredible experience and some very, very good sicilian food.

Un vero gioiello incastonato nel cuore di Catania. A pochi passi dal centro storico trovate questo bellissimo locale, ricercato, raffinato e curato nei minimi dettagli. L'interno del locale è veramente bello, soprattutto la parte superiore, ma la chicca è il cortile esterno: perfetto per trascorrere le calde sere d'estate in compagnia dei propri amici, della propria famigilia, della dolce metà o... Di noi stessi. Il personale è accogliente, preparato, gentile, disponibile, veloce e pronto per qualsiasi esigenza del cliente. Ultimo, certamente non per importanza, il menù. Anch'esso curato nei minimi dettagli, dalla parte grafica alla parte prettamente culinaria: ottimi panini e pizze, prelibatizze gourmet da gustare fino all'ultimo morso. Una vera goduria per il palato. Ottime anche le birre, i cocktails e i dolci. Ovviamente la qualità dei prodotti è molto buona, si sente che sono tutti ingredienti freschi, ed i prezzi sono giusti, perfettamente in linea con il mercato, eccellente rapporto qualità/prezzo. 5 stelle molto più che meritate.
