Cinema Troisi — Local services in Rome

Terrible experience with the staff and organization of this cinema! Yesterday, we purchased a ticket for the movie No More Trouble, and the seller assured us that it would be in English. However, when we entered the theater, we realized the movie was in Italian. We immediately went back to the seller, explained the issue, but he kept insisting that the movie was in English and only offered to exchange the ticket for another day.

Visitato oggi per la prima volta, ambiente giovanile e informale, dà un po' l'idea di disorganizzazione e improvvisazione, in fondo giustificabile vista la giovane età (il cui limite continua precipitosamente ad aumentare, almeno in Italia). La cosa più fastidiosa, durante la visione del film, è il volume assordante, inutilmente alto, che trasforma in fastidio l'esperienza altrimenti preziosa del dolby surround. E trattandosi di cinema, mi torna in mente la battuta tratta da "Il grande Lebowski" : "fott**i dilettanti".

Assistito ad altre due proiezioni in loco, confermo che quella del volume assordante è una cattiva abitudine in auge in questa sala. I miei vicini di poltrona, sconosciuti, si lamentavano in continuazione e si tappavano le orecchie nei momenti clou (e parliamo di un documentario su Volontè, mica di Armageddon eh?).

L'ho fatto notare, uscendo dallo spettacolo, ad un giovane operatore il quale, a mia edificazione, ha replicato "signore, questo è un cinema", fugando ogni mio dubbio sulla destinazione d'uso degli ambienti. Insomma, adesso so che il Cinema Troisi non è né un supermarket, né una rivendita di pezzi di ricambio per imbarcazioni.

Ho risposto che, da utente e da tecnico acustico, il volume mi sembrava COMUNQUE alto e fastidioso;

il medesimo giovane operatore mi ha rivelato che è il regista che ha chiesto espressamente di alzare il volume al che, al settimo cielo, ho chiesto se anche per la proiezione di "Toro Scatenato", il signor Scorsese in persona lo avesse chiamato al telefono per dirgli "pump up the fuc*g volume!".

Insomma, alla fine ho lasciato perdere, ma ho deciso di non tornare più qui perchè pagare per soffrire a causa del volume alto e, per sovrammercato, essere anche preso per i fondelli mi...

The space is great, I'd love to go back again for the cinema or working space BUT their coffee, an absolute joke! 3 guys behind the bar that don't seem to care much

I've asked for a cafe latte, one of the guys pulls a coffee, pours cold milk on top and then asks me if I want it cold or warm - I say warm and then he proceeds to do what you can see in the video. Completely disgusting, the steamer wasn't even clean, coffee was splurging everywhere, needles to say a completely bad experience. I'd give it 1 star but don't want the cinema to suffer for the incompetent...
