My recent dining experience at Rione 13 Ristorante in Rome was nothing short of exceptional. Nestled in the heart of the city, this charming restaurant offers a delightful blend of traditional Italian cuisine and modern culinary flair.

From the moment I stepped in, I was warmly welcomed by the staff, setting the tone for a memorable evening. The ambiance was cozy yet elegant, with tasteful decor that perfectly complemented the historic surroundings.

The menu was a testament to Italian gastronomic excellence, featuring a diverse selection of dishes prepared with the freshest local ingredients. I started with the bruschetta, which was a perfect balance of crispy bread and flavorful toppings. For the main course, I chose the carbonara, a classic Roman dish that was executed to perfection—creamy, rich, and utterly satisfying. The wine list was equally impressive, offering a well-curated selection of Italian wines that paired beautifully with the meal.

However, what truly elevated the experience was the impeccable service provided by our waiter, Chiara. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with genuine enthusiasm and ensuring that every detail of our dining experience was taken care of. Chiara’s warm and friendly demeanor made us feel like valued guests, adding a personal touch that is often hard to find.

In conclusion, Rione 13 Ristorante is a must-visit for anyone looking to enjoy an authentic Italian dining experience in Rome. The combination of exquisite food, inviting atmosphere, and outstanding service, especially from the delightful Chiara, makes it a standout choice. I look forward to returning and reliving this...

Our hotel's hostess recommended this restaurant to us for dinner and she kindly made reservations for us. It is just on the outskirts of the lively Trastavere neighborhood and within walking distance from our hotel.

We made reservations for indoor seating but for some reason they were seating everyone outdoors. The hostess who greeted us was very cheerful and nice.

Our waiter was Alberto. He was very friendly and nice but he was running around taking care of all the tables outside, including setting up tables. Our table had no plates or utensils. We placed our orders with Alberto and food came out at different times. Water was never delivered until we flagged down a young lady who was trying to help. We asked for utensils and water. We flagged her again to ask for bread and was told rudely "Not now"and she walked away. She didn't seem happy with us. Alberto did check on us while we were eating. I think they just got overwhelmed for a bit. The focaccia bread was finally delivered and it was piping hot. Perhaps the "Not now" meant that they ran out and were making more. We had a good laugh about the possible misunderstanding. Our fault for not speaking Italian.

The food was good and I was happy to see that there were vegetables in the dishes. We ordered the sea bass and found out that it was only a filet, not the whole fish. The grilled lamb was three lamb chops. The fried artichoke was fried breaded squid were...

We came here because of the great storys we heard on the internet of this Place. But we had a very bad experience with this place. The entree was great, but it took ages because they first served the wrong dish. Afterwards the two maindishes, pasta carbonara truffle and the beefwellington were brought to us.

The pasta was way undercooked and still hard, the beefwellington was way overcooked and very dry, the tenderloin was completely Grey and hard. Very bad flavours. The beef wellington was included with backed potatos, we never got them. I asked the waiter about it but he didn't knew that it was on the menu. The wellington was fuilty and i talked to a waiter about it and he said it was a New dish and hé did not know anything about it. He got me a pizza calzone as replacement. I like calzones very much.. But this also was tasteless. We asked for the Bill and wanted to leave, they included 4 euro's tip inside of the Bill without asking. I would gladly tip a restaurant of everything was great.. But not after such a bad ecperience!

There were Only 15 People in the restaurant so it was not because the personel was too bussy...

My full food tour video on the Rome Twilight Trastevere Walking Food Tour with everyone’s favorite tour guide, Val from @eatingeurope! It was so hard to condense this into a short video as we were given SO much great information on this tour. This was our first food tour on our Italy trip and ended up being our favorite and I highly suggest you book this tour when you visit Rome! This is not sponsored, I seriously just had an amazing time on this tour! Great company, great food, great vibes all around. The amount of information, insight, and culture we got was just astounding and helped provide perspective for the entirety our trip.
