Strategy and tactics 2 — Local services in Rome

We were visiting Rome this week, and one of our goals was to find a store that carried Dungeons and Dragons and other tabletop games as a surprise for our son. We were thrilled to discover the Strategy and Tactics Store, tucked away on a cozy side street. The staff spoke perfect English and went above and beyond to help us. They not only had exactly what my son was looking for but also took the time to explain some of the new collectibles, and offered some game winning moves.

I think this shop is a must see for tabletop gaming enthusiasts, whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned collector. From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted by a warm atmosphere and shelves filled with everything from books and games to dice , intricate, miniatures and rare treasures.

I visited Strategia e Tattica during my trip to Rome, and this store is an absolute gem for tabletop RPG and board game enthusiasts. I found so many incredible board games and dice sets that are hard to come by in Turkey, which was such a treat.

The owners are the sweetest and incredibly knowledgeable, making my visit even more enjoyable. We had the most engaging conversations about GURPS, VTM, DnD and other TTRPGs. Their passion for the hobby truly shines, and they made me feel so welcome!

I was really glad i had the opportunity to visit this store during my short visit in Rome and jam a draft there. The store owner was extremely helpful ,the local players were more than polite and fun to draft along and the store made sure that we drafted using English boosters as i cannot read Italian . The store has the old school feeling of your local game store , i felt really comfortable and even some nostalgia as the store did remind me of the store i started playing magic.
