Fantastic supermarket which although small has a surprisingly broad selection of goods. You will probably find everything you need here. The meat and fish is top quality (you won’t always find the same types or cuts but I feel this is as it’s fresh and seasonal). The deli counter has a wonderful array of meats and cheeses. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the man at the deli counter helped me to find the closest Italian equivalent to chorizo so my husband could make one of my favourite dishes :) You’ll also find a very fresh selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables and a wide choice of wines. While it doesn’t have the size or glitz of the big chains, it more than makes up for it with charm, friendly service, and a well-curated selection of essentials.

The produce is always fresh, and I appreciate that they often carry locally sourced fruits and vegetables. Their dairy and meat sections are small but reliable, and I’ve never had an issue with quality. Prices are reasonable, and they often have great deals on everyday items.

What really stands out is the staff — everyone is warm, helpful, and seems to genuinely care about the customers.

Amazing service from the man with curly brown hair and a manbun. We were having a terrible day before this but he turned our day around with such great customer service. After 10 hours of missed trains and delays, we walked into this CONAD and he greeted us with a huge smile at the checkout right before closing. We didn’t speak Italian but he started joking with us and showed us how to weigh the fruits and sticker them.
