I spent a few minutes at this store and took a really good look at a turtle I liked. Did not buy just yet. Then I visited the other cheap murano glass stores around. Price difference was huge but in all fareness you have to be blind or stupid not to spot the difference in the craftsmanship between both stores. Working with glass can be easy if you keep it simple and that is why there are stores that will sell you stuff at ridiculous prices. I feel bad for all the glass workers providing those cheap stores with products that will barely give them enough to eat and pay a really small and bad place to live. Meanwhile my "overpriced" turtle had texture imprinted on the very same glass, a transluscent shell with a irisdescent bottom that will change color according to your point of view with some head detail the other shops could not even get on the shell of their (according to most women reviews) "exactly the same product" turtle. In case you missed it... no, they are not comparable... craftsmanship is in a whole higher level. But if you are the kind of person who will see the art of an artist on the street and think "what a nice little drawing" better keep the cheap glass work for you. You both belong...

Buy instore. Do NOT buy online. Their glassware is the best on the Rialto and a fare price. However, if want to ship merchandise, you pay a set price for "secure & insured" delivery. You sign for your delivered package, 3 days after ordering; "how efficient"! Your order is incomplete. An item is missing. I contact the shop in good faith to be told "not our problem ". Emails and phone calls later, nothing. I contacted my credit card and I could stop the payment. It's breach of contract. Why haven't I stopped the charge? I've got most of the order and I don't want my last memory of Venice to be tainted.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS STORE IN VENICE - I had a horrible experience when I bought my wife a necklace and next day when she put it on it broke 30 min later, by then we were in Milan and no way of returning to the shop to have it repaired. After contacting store owner they said ship it to us and we get it fixed and returned to you but when I paid an extra $40 to ship it upon return to Australia they refused to accept the shipment at store and did not refund me or tried to pretend they didn't speak English everytime I rang them!...
