We were walking up and down the canal looking for a place to have dinner and drinks. While we were looking at the menu displayed outside of this place, Jaky (I later asked his name) approached us and made small talk and asked what we felt like eating. I said I was undecided and perhaps I'd be back after looking at some other places along the canal. He said this was fine, gave me a business card for the restaurant and told me that we would have the table right by the window should we return. Sure enough - we came back about 20 minutes later - and - as promised - Jaky seated us by the open window with the best view of the canal.
Anyway - I have celiac and this place has a pretty good gluten free (senza glutine) menu (see attached pictures) featuring pizza and pastas (of course). The pizza crust was a bit harder than others I've tried in Italy (some of which tend to be really thin and sometimes soggy), but was definitely filling. I ordered a litre of the house white wine for 17€ and also an assorted cheese platter for €15. I wish I would have taken a picture of the food prior to consuming it like an animal.
The customer service here is fantastic and Jaky went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten intolerance. He brought out some table bread for my wife and told me I couldn't have it - but offered to get me some gluten free garlic bread which I regret declining (already had too much food!).
My wife got the regular (her bowels aren't cursed) spaghetti and bolognese and gives it a 9/10. It was favourful, fresh and the portion size was above average for Italy.
Anyway - if you're looking for some pretty good gluten free food in the area (and regular food for you normies) with great customer service - I highly recommend this place. Shout...

Asked for 2 prosecco to start.
Got two completely flat ones...
Asked for 2 .....with bubbles....as it should be.
Got 2 flat ones again...had to stand up to leave our appetiser go cold to get to the bar to ask for it again...
The bartender tried to tell me that they just opened the bottle and it is perfect...it clearly wasn't. The open bottle didn't have a pressure stopper, just a wine bottle cork. Anybody who ever had prosecco can tell the difference if it has bubbles... Prosecco is from Veneto... I thought they would care... not here.
Courses were otherwise ok... and thank you for the gentleman deboning the seabass!
After mains nobody asked us for coffee or desserts or anything... so after waiting for 20 mins we stood up and asked for the bill at the bar and left. 2/3 waiters were in the other room. Wasted money. Wasted opportunity for a great evening. Would have happily spent more money...but left angry. We came here to relax not chase after basic service. Avoidable. Tourist trap with bad attitude.
Just hire people who care or know what they are doing and the same number of guests will leave...

This restaurant unfortunately is a sham. Complete tourist trap. High prices with less than mediocre food. The greet you as you’re walking by and wheel you in (first sign we should have left). Once seated, you’re waiting forever for your beverages (Second sign we should have left). We proceeded to order food, time was pressed and we were starving. Once ordered, it took over 40 minutes for our food. Rather than bringing everything out at one time, they brought random items out one by one at different times. Our meals left us craving a higher quality meal, such as McDonald’s.
I could continue. Those who are first timers to Venice STAY AWAY from this place. Read reviews starting with the negative ones, and avoid food from main tourist sites.
Again, I kid you not… save your money and eat else where
