Our dining experience at Osteria Bancogiro in Venice was an absolute delight, highlighted by the exquisite flavors of lobster pasta and a refreshing accompaniment of beer. This charming establishment truly captured the essence of Venetian cuisine, leaving us with a memorable culinary journey.

The lobster pasta at Osteria Bancogiro was a true masterpiece. The pasta was cooked to perfection, complemented by succulent pieces of tender lobster that melted in our mouths. The flavors were harmoniously balanced, with each ingredient shining through to create a delectable symphony on our taste buds. The presentation was equally impressive, showcasing the attention to detail and culinary artistry of the chefs.

To accompany our delicious meal, we opted for a refreshing beer from Osteria Bancogiro's beverage selection. The beer provided a perfect balance to the richness of the lobster pasta, enhancing the dining experience with its crisp and invigorating flavors. The knowledgeable staff recommended the perfect beer pairing, further demonstrating their commitment to ensuring a memorable dining experience for...

We travelled around for 2 weeks and this was seriously one of our best meals in all of Italy! We walked up for dinner and didn’t have a reservation so they took a minute but found us a table on the patio with great views of the Grand Canal. It has such a great vibe and Also they were so friendly and patient with us and helped picking out a good bottle of wine that wasn’t expensive and helped us deciding on the best dishes to eat. We ended up getting the gnocchi with meat and the truffle pasta. It was seriously amazing!!! Melt in your mouth with so much flavor and deliciousness! And we drank our bottle of wine slowly and lingering for a while after the meal but we never felt pressured to leave even as tables filled up all around us. It’s just a great place to really take in Venice and enjoy amazing food. For dessert we also got the tiramisu but this was the just okay. It’s the only thing I wouldn’t recommend here as I’ve had better and I didn’t like the crunchy crackers instead of normally soft ladyfinger cake. But overall everything else was superb! I highly recommend this place...

Excellent restaurant / Osteria located in the Rialto area, dinner is on the canal, the tables are set outside looking at the canal, they also have tables inside but who needs then when you can sit outside by the canal. We can here on recommendation of the hotel (L'orologio) we were staying and he was right, the food, location and service made our experience all worth it. We have the Sea bream with pistachios on a carrot curry with artichoke bottoms and the Sliced beef fillet with plum mostarda, potatoes and salad and both meals were delicious, I mean delicious.

We also had appetizers such as Spicy dark chocolate ice cream with whiskey sauce and chocolate waffle and the Watermelon sushi with coconut rice and cardamom chocolate cream, the chocolate was to die for and the watermelon appetizer was all right, we also had a coratado and an Express, both smelled and tasted great.

Overall the food, location and service made our time at Bancogiro worth the money, if you only have a budget for one have mid expensive...
