This is a scam, get away as fast as you can!

For more details, here are the various issues: We got the english menu, but price with no tax. This is illegal. We asked for a special sirloin and a chateaubriand. Plus an ebisu and an umeshu. 15 minute later the server come back saying the chateaubriand is sold out as well as the ebisu beer...weird, aren't they draft beer? I then chose the premium sirloin. The meat came 30 minute later... Then the main issue: the meat is awfull and wasted. The chef cut it in big chunk so the outside is too cooked and the inside raw. They then add spice and wasabi to hide this disaster...I could not even finish the plate. The two piece of sirloin are probably the same meat as we tested both with no difference... Somewhat of a tangent, but some dumb old folk were eating and stared nastily at my friend because he forgot to close the door...then at the end, they left while letting the door open only to come back 5 minute later to close it like the clown they are.

Overall a very weird experience, a quick check on the review tell me we are not the only one feeling that way I guess we got too confident in Japan, trying shop without checking the review, I hope you won't make the same mistake...

While many places serve memorable dishes, few deliver the exceptional quality found here. The steak was truly outstanding, tender, juicy, and easily surpassing many acclaimed steakhouses I've visited. Every bite showed genuine culinary skill and care.

The amazing food was matched perfectly by the warm, welcoming service from the chef and the lovely lady working there.

After a long day exploring Beppu, dining here was the perfect way to end the day. Honestly, it was incredible.

I'm really sad to be leaving Beppu so soon... I wish I could eat...

Loved it. The food tasted really good, especially considering there was only one staff member (the owner). He made conversation with us and was just very friendly. He went out of his way to make our experience better. Funny story, there was a Hawaiian guy who saw the surf board outside and talked with the owner about Hawaii (even with a language barrier). Btw the location is a bit dodgy...
