Pokémon Center Hiroshima — Local services in Hiroshima

Slightly hard to locate this Pokemon Center so here is a guide: It’s on the 2nd floor of the station, head towards the Shinkansen gate and there is a sign to the right for the Pokemon Center. We head towards the wall and walked down the hallway past the center and turned right, heading outside the building, walking a little more and then turned right again to enter through the Pokemon Center doors. You can also head through the 7-11 and walk past the Pokemon Center exit, heading through the automatic doors and turning left to enter the Pokemon Center. Smaller than all other Pokémon stores. This is on the 6th floor of the SOGO Department store building. We were walking around looking for the entrance as it wasn't well advertised. Even inside, it said in tiny print inside the elevator that Pokémon Store is in the 6th floor by the men's suit department.

Has typical Pokémon store goods, just less variety since it's a much smaller store.

If your kid dreams of stopping by every Pokémon Store in Japan, definitely hit it to check off the bucket list. Otherwise, you are going to find the exact same merchandise as the other stores.

A lovely pokemon center located just a few tens of meters from the station exit. In terms of size, it isn’t the biggest I have seen, but I love how they incorporate the local sports team into their products. For their baseball team, the Hiroshima Carps, they have Magikarp and shiny Gyarados representing them. For their football team, Hiroshima Sanfrecce, it is Teddiursa (for some reason). This kind of integration of local culture is something I haven’t seen in other Pokecenters and I think it makes visiting this one particularly worth the time and effort. 10/10 very...
