Flower MOUNTAIN 草津 — Local services in Kusatsu

Picture this: a group of six foreigners are cruising about buying fun things and gifts. One of us (me, obsessed with shoes) spots an adorable floral tennis shoe out of the corner of my eye. I draw in the rest of my group and the poor man is accosted by six white people. Not only is he incredibly friendly, he is clear, explains things well, checks a million things online to answer our questions, is patient with us, jokes with us, and let’s us try on ten million pairs of shoes. Four of us end up buying a pair, which I might add are handmade and have unique designs. A lovely experience - we kind of trashed his store trying things on but he was so amazing and also incredibly attractive. I make it a habit not to flirt with people who are working but I nearly forsoke my morals while staring at his beautiful face. A true ray...

Walked into the shop and fell in love on sight with the Japanese designed sneakers. Initially walked out after admiring the designs (as i alrdy bought 5pairs of shoes this year so no more sneaker quota)…. On my way back to hotel, i just had to pop in again and dedcided to buy the last pair of the design that caught my eye!

The shop staff was really patient and welcome me with smiles again when i walked in. I am was abit “omg” when he insisted to fit me the shoe.. opps i feel like Cinderella 😝!

Friends around were singing praises and thats it! - I think i bought my best pair of sneakers this year 2022!!

Looking forward to visit again in March2023 for new designs… definitely bringing...

Ich habe heute spontan in diesem Laden ein paar Turnschuhe gekauft. Das hatte ich eigentlich gar nicht vor, aber beim vorbei schlendern habe ich mich direkt in die Turnschuhe verliebt. Sie sahen alle so besonders aus 😍. Da ich auf großem Fuß lebe (43, bzw.27,5) habe ich es gar nicht zu Hoffen gewagt, hier in Japan ein paar Damenschuhe für mich zu finden. Doch diese Schuhe sind unisex und somit war auch für mich was dabei 😁. Da ich die Marke vorher nicht kannte, war ich erst noch skeptisch bzgl. der Qualität, aber sie sind auch super verarbeitet und total bequem. Haben eine Korksohle und sind somit sehr angenehm zu tragen.

Der Verkäufer war auch sehr nett und geduldig mit mir. Er hat mir diverse Schuhe angezogen und obwohl ich kein japanisch spreche und er wenig englisch, hat er mir alles Wichtige irgendwie mitgeteilt.

Zu guter Letzt konnte ich die Schuhe noch taxfree kaufen... ☺️

Ich bin total glücklich über diesen Einkauf und werde mich beim Tragen dieser Schuhe immer an meinen tollen Japanurlaub...
