Really underrated place. And despite all the bad reviews about service, I feel that one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. This place obviously sell takoyaki way better than Gindaco. And they have a strict regulation where each customer should order one item each and state clearly that they wish to dine-in before ordering (since they have limited seating). There're really many rude and selfish customers would stated that they want a takeout, only to sit at the tables with afew people sharing just 1 plate of takoyaki and hogging the table for almost 30min. Clearly, they are the ones who would claim that the servers here are rude. Since the servers had alrd9tried their best to communicate their rules to these customers and yet they still do otherwise.
But back to takoyaki, we order a triple flavour. And we felt that the mayo with spring onions is the best! Plus, the takoyakis are so crispy on the outside yet, so soft and tender with a huge tako on the inside. (way better than Gindaco).
Keep up the good work! I'll be...
Read moreIt's kind of funny to me seeing all of these poor reviews after we had a very similar experience. The workers here are not very friendly but that could easily be attributed to the fact that they have to constantly tell people not to eat in the store. The reason why you aren't normally allowed to dine in is because you need to order one item per person in your party (this was not explained very well or mentioned anywhere in the store). The best way to get around this and avoid having to eat standing outside is to order however much takoyaki you want and order one drink per remaining person in your party.
The food itself was pretty good, but I will say the octopus itself was not the greatest quality. It's reasonably priced and fills you up so if you don't mind dealing with some rude workers it's worth...

Unfortunately, similar to many reviews below, we had a bad experience with the one and same rude female staff serving us. we almost turned away when she was very unwelcoming upfront. When other staff members tried to help us throw away the used paper dish (who also helped others), she tried to stop the other staff members which I found very strange.
I thought the Takoyaki was decent though, and definitely the other staff members were very nice and helpful.
Chances are, if you're reading this, is because you just had the similar experience with the specific female staff member and you're looking up reviews about it - that's literally...
