During our time in Kyoto, we discovered the most incredible experience—a workshop where you can transform old Japanese coins into custom rings. My partner and I each crafted our own rings from 200-year-old coins, and the process felt both creative and deeply meaningful. The craftsmanship guidance was excellent, making it easy to create something beautiful while also learning the history behind the coins.
What made it even more special was that we were able to turn the centers of the coins into necklaces for our two children. Now, we all share pieces that connect us not only to each other but also to a piece of Japan’s history.
The rings themselves are stunning—solid, full of character, and one-of-a-kind. We paid extra for a silver coin and it was totally worth it! I can 100% recommend the experience. It is super cool to make your own ring. They have a variety of coins from all over the world as well as vintage pieces. If you just want a relaxing afternoon and make a cool souvenir out of it I...
Read moreI not sure this review will read by store or not. I joined the workshop with my brother to create the ring for myself and my husband. My first option was Canada old coin, but they don’t have that. So I go for second option Japan old coin. My husband finger is bigger, so can’t have the same coin with me. Have to add another 3,000 yen for the sliver Japan old coin.
But the worker and very patient to help and explain. Even is using iPhone translation. We love it! Would wish to come again!...
