Great Value for Money and Great location to Metro - allowing so much flexibility to go and see thing
Liked · The place is great for the Kyoto travel and we could do a lot. Quiet place and few restaurants around. Good shower and nice beds. Allowed early checkin and no fuss. Had a washer!
Disliked · Under the beds had not been cleaned, we moved one and they had stuff. Reception was manned but hard to communicate, and it was run like AirBNB - contactless. Aircon was off and no guide in english for the AC and we could not turn it on for few mins and it was so hot in the room! Room had so many warning saying no shouting, no loud etc that put off vacation mode. There was no map with restaurant around and no...

There is self check in. The process is smooth. There also is a front desk (reception), but it is only staffed from 10:00 until 22:00. On the day I checked out, there was no one at the reception at 10:10.
The room itself is more spacious than a regular Japanese hotel room. It's great for a long-term stay as it has a laundry machine in the room. Furthermore, the room itself looked clean, but smelled a bit musty. The hallway was a bit messy and should be vacuumed more...
