If you are a fan of traditional Japanese sweets, this café is an absolute must-visit! Nestled away from the usual tourist traps, this hidden gem offers an authentic experience that will leave your taste buds delighted and your heart warmed. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by the incredibly welcoming and helpful personnel, making you feel like a cherished guest rather than just a customer. The warabi mochi is simply divine! They are exceptionally light, non-sticky, and boast the perfect texture. Best ones I had. One of the highlights is their matcha, which is prepared with such care and precision that it elevates the entire experience. The rich, earthy flavors of the matcha complement the sweets perfectly, creating a harmonious balance that is both refreshing and satisfying. For those looking to take a piece of this experience home, the café offers beautifully packed sweets that make perfect souvenirs. The packaging is as delightful as the contents, and the prices are very reasonable, making it easy to share a taste of Japan with friends and family. This café is a true treasure for anyone looking to enjoy authentic Japanese sweets in a welcoming and friendly environment:)

A delightful haven for mochi and Japanese snack enthusiasts alike. With its inviting ambiance and efficient cooling from the AC-equipped dining area, it provides a comfortable respite from the summer heat. During my recent visit, I indulged in their signature cold shaved ice, which proved to be the perfect remedy to beat the heat. The texture was spot on, and the flavors were refreshingly authentic. The menu boasts a variety of mochi and other Japanese treats, each crafted with care and precision.

The mochis are to die for! Soft and chewy without being overly sweet! Try the other snacks while you’re there. They are so generous with their samples! The set I had was yum. Get it! I bought the DIY boxes home. Had it two weeks later and it still tasted exactly like the samples in the shop. So, if you’re skeptical like I was about bringing it back to your home country and it’s freshness, rest assured. It’s gonna be ok!

Vegan-friendly, allergen-friendly, and mochi so light it almost melted in my mouth. So good! We stumbled by this place on the way to the monkey forest, and I was initially thought it was a tourist trap. But they had a matcha set with mochi advertised for a reasonable price so I went in. Their cafe wasn't open yet but the nice man making the mochi offered us a lot of (huge) samples of freshly made mochi (all their other packaged snacks have samples as well) and everything we tried in this shop was so good, we left with a bunch of snacks. This place wasn't on happycow so I would have missed it, but every packaged food item had an allergen card which I thought was a nice touch and made finding accidentally vegan...
