I cant say enough of this place. Miho (hope i didnt smell your name wrong) is the best staff ever, she speaks perfect english and i enjoyed chatting with her. She takes care of the customers so well, we chatted and she studied in Wyoming in US before and lived in Costa Rica for two years, it is very enjoyable to talk about life and culture. Not to mention the nice tea and pancakes. Miho asked me where I am going to after the cafe, i was planning to go to an onsen and she happens to be driving to the library near my onsen place, she went out of her way to offer me a ride generously and we chatted more on the car. I am grateful for her hospitality and my experience in Japan has been great because of people like her. Will definitely recommend this cozy cafe to everyone. They serve pasta before 1330 and pancakes after 1330. The decoration is cute and there is an area to take off your shoes before entering. They provide slippers to prevent your feet from getting cold. Upon seating, they will give you blanket. Im so glad i...

Barely even looks like a cafe from the outside minus a small “cafe latte” sign out front, but the inside is so adorable and welcoming. Few notes for my foreigners, first sliding door puts you in the foyer, take your outside shoes off and put on slippers, and inside the second sliding door is the cafe where you can sit anywhere you’d like. The menu switches from pasta for lunch (11:30-13:30) to pancakes for post-lunch dessert/snack (13:30-close). You’ll need to Google translate the menu but it’s got great descriptions for the various types of pancakes, and the staff are so friendly, I’d highly...
Read moreJust after a sumptuous lunch and walking out from the eatery, my wife and I saw an old traditional Japanese house that looks interesting. As there was an antique displayed at the glass facade, we walked nearer to take a look and found out that it is a cafe, a low profile one. Since it was opened, we decided to get our post-lunch coffee. The cafe also provides food and desserts, and pancakes seem to be their signature. The interior looked small due to its low ceiling and small-sized furnishings but offering good number of seatings, and it was a great place for us to zen it out. While having our coffee, we also flipped through the local magazines available...
