I'm someone of little knowledge on words in japanese but this place was really awesome. Ken was amazing at his "bar"tending, and which is the closest thing i can liken to this experience. My little knowledge on japanese got me through the night speaking a little with other okyakusan, and Ken-chan. Everyone is super friendly and if you know or at least, choose what you want to drink before you get into the building, your english or other language experience will go much smoother. The other half dozen customers were also very nice, engaging in pleasant conversations, and making there own recommendations in a respectful way. The prices ranged from $2 to $8.50 for approximately 2 oz of sake. Most of the choices being in the $2 - $3 range. The hi-lite was an aged sake, bottled in 1992. Saying it reminded me of sherry with very little sweetness doesn’t do it justice. A fun way to cap off a day walking...
