The first live performance I've seen since arriving in Japan, and the first artist blew it out of the park. This kinda stuff is what I dreamed of seeing in Japan and will have such a hard time finding at home. It was hard to find anything about those playing beforehand as I'm not from Japan. So I had no expectations going into it, and was surprised at how cozy it felt going down to the stage. Not a lot of people are going out on a Thursday so I assume it was mainly regulars showing up and there were not many in the audience. So those who were there seemed so into it and loved the experience of it as I did. This was such a cool experience and I highly recommend giving it a go if you can. I for one will be checking out more around my travels for sure, and if I'm ever in osaka again this place would be on the list for sure!

I've been going to shows for decades. I've seen shows everywhere from basements and record shops to theaters and arenas. Bears is by far one of my all time favorite venues. Very small and intimate. Excellent vibe. They have beer and food available, but you are allowed and encouraged to bring your own beer. Sound was excellent. I had no issues with sound levels dur8ng any bands set. I only made it to one show here during my stay in Namba, but I will make it a point to come back anytime I stay in Namba. I would go back regardless of who...

My favorite local music experience in Japan. It might be a dirty and a small venue, but this is the spot to go to for local music. There were other tourists there and the music was very lively and fun. They give you flyers for upcoming shows while you're there which is a good way...
