This next review is for people with big feet. Skip it if you have average size feet because it doesn’t pertain to you. If you have average size feet you can get shoes anywhere in Japan. As for me, I have size 12 (30cm) so it’s very hard for me to find shoes in Japan in the area that I live. I made a special trip to ABC Premier Stage in Shinjuku for the specific reason of finding size 12 skate shoes. I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived and found out that there was several pairs of Vans that I could buy in size 12.
Thanks to the clerk that help me, he was kind of quick and on point! I ended up buying the shoes you see in the pic in size 12 and change the laces to Brown for some extra Steez! They came to 8000yen with the laces, including tax.
I really wanted to give this review a five star because there is nothing wrong with my experience. But I think coming from a skateboarders perspective it would’ve been nice if there was other skate shoes available. I like my vans but I also like a little variety too.
It’s just a small thing and may not affect your experience but I was there at 11 o’clock am when they were supposed to open and they were three or four minutes late. Not a big deal but rare in Japan for a store tonight open when it’s supposed to. I was in a hurry which is probably why...

Asked a few simple questions and was met with eye-rolls, short answers, and the kind of energy you'd expect from someone forced to work against their will. I checked other reviews afterward and, surprise surprise, it seems this behaviour is the norm here — not the exception.
Truly amazed someone like this still has a job. Hats off to the company for turning a blind eye — clearly setting a high bar for mediocrity. And to the sales champ himself: well done, mate! You’re doing a stellar job representing your country’s values. Gold medal performance...
Read moreI came in here to look for a pair of shoes yesterday at 8pm. There was a sales section and I tried the shoes on. The whole time, a female sales assistant just stood in the middle of the store using her phone and staring at us, not even lifting a finger even when we went back to the sales section to look for another size. Just stood there and stared.
She was on the ground floor with dyed long hair, couldn’t see her name tag cos it was flipped, not sure if it was on purpose. Totally ignored us. Absolutely horrible service.
Only giving this place 2 stars, cos the male sales assistant in the basement was attentive towards my partner when he...
