I appreciate the fact that this is quite an old cinema. And I truly love that they brought in works that are not widely shown from around the world. But they really have to think carefully about how to handle the customers.
I was there to watch Nezha 2 which I have been really excited about. It was a big plus that it was showing with English subtitles! But upon entering the cinema, the crowd was really haphazard. It seems really hectic and confusing. They didn’t really check the ticket properly, and I question the use of QR code if they don’t have the scanner there. Please note that there are only two elevators and the other option is to climb the stairs to the 6th floor.
As it is a highly anticipated movie, there was understandably a huge crowd. The overwhelming majority are native speakers of the language it was showing in. It was really appalling to see people showing up really late with their blinding mobile phone lights on and waving it around, not even trying to duck down. I often hear them speak loudly throughout the movie, especially at the beginning and towards the end of the movie. Seriously the worst movie experience I’ve had in Japan and there was no Staff at all to make sure everything is going smoothly.
I suppose they can’t do anything about the space… But they need to do something to make sure that the customers are all following the rules...

The staff was young and not so friendly. Unclear direction and explanation when asked how I can purchase tickets. Lots of mumbling and back and forth information.
The theater inside does not have direction lamps to help customers navigate to their seats once the room goes dark. My friend spilled her beer because she couldn’t see.
The screen and the seats were comfortable but nothing special.
I liked the selection of movies playing so will go back for the titles but definitely not for...
