Came here for early lunch. Sushi in Japan is second to none in quality and choice, which makes conveyor belt sushi place a must stop for any visitors. You come in and use the queing machine, which gives you the number. Then you wait until your number is called, after which you use another machine to get your assigned table. Then you use the iPad on the table to order. Water is self-service at the end of the aisle, or make your own hot green tea from the comfort of your table.

As a visitor, I would focus on sushi types I could not find outside Japan, which translated to a bunch of shellfish types and special fish slices. The whelks were great, as well as scallops. My personal favourite was the herring roe sushi, which I developed a liking during this trip. Some sushi came with mini-portion rice, which was ideal for us; they're cheaper and come with less rice, so you get full slower, a perfect combination!

Every dish you order comes in a coloured saucer, which comes with a price. I have to confess, we went overboard with the visit, but the experience was satisfying. On check out, the machine will count the tally and direct you to pay on...

About a 40 min wait at around 7:30pm during Japan's sports day national holiday.

Grab a ticket by selecting your language, choose how many people in your party, and choose whether you want a booth or bar seat. We chose a booth so it probably took a bit longer. They'll call out numbers in both Japanese and English. Once you hear your number, go to the other machine (beside the ticket machine) and scan the QR code on your ticket to get the table number ticket and head to your table.

On the tablet, click the bottom button to confirm and on the next page on the top left choose the language.

The food was fast and delicious with lots of variety. Grab a cup from above the conveyor belt and scoop some green tea and pour yourself some hot water from the dispenser at the booth.

Just be aware, there's a 60 min time limit for ordering.

Once you're done, click the check-out button on the tablet, confirm your order and use the table number printout QR code at the cash to pay. Be aware they don't take IC cards.

I had a great time here, I...

Decent conveyor belt sushi. Quality is surprisingly good, but obviously not comparable with a high end sushi place.

Prepare to wait a little bit for your table. You'll need to get a number from the automated kiosk machine when you enter and wait until your number is called. Once your number is called, you have to go back to the automated kiosk which will print a new paper for you with your table number. It's important that you keep that paper, you'll need to it to pay after you're done eating.

Each table has the usual free water/tea, everything is ordered via a tablet at the table. Everything is delivered via the conveyor belt. There is no possibility to randomly pick items from the belt like at other conveyor belt places. Everything has to be ordered.

Overall a fun experience with...

💢 Pro tip: there is a machine labeled "1. Reception" (in one of my photos) at the entrance where you indicate how many in the party to collect a ticket number. This ticket number is then scanned on the second machine, "2. Guide" when the number is called then you would be given a table ticket. 🍣 Sushi is great. It's not amazing but for the price you pay, the assortment they offer and the speed of which the sushis come out, it is great. 🐴 They had raw horsemeat sushi so that was must try! 🍰 Forgot to take pictures but their dessert selection was pretty good actually. Mochi, sweet potatoes, mille feuille were good 👍 Overall I think Sushiro is pretty great. Comparing with Tsukiji, I think while tsukiji may be fresher for some things, sushiro serves it at half the price. My maths say eat at Sushiro
