Flamingo isn’t just a thrift shop...it’s a full-on experience. I wandered in “just to browse,” but five minutes later I was holding a 90s denim jacket like it was Excalibur, convinced it would transform me into a cooler version of myself. (Spoiler: it did. At least until I tried to pair it with socks and sandals.)

The store is big, beautifully curated & somehow manages to feel both stylish & approachable - like the kind of friend who’s always dressed perfectly but swears they “just threw this on.” Racks are stuffed with vintage tees, denim & accessories, all displayed in a way that makes treasure hunting a genuine joy instead of a chore.

Prices are fair for the quality...this isn’t a bargain basement, but you’re paying for well-selected pieces rather than digging through 47 pairs of neon sweatpants to find one gem. The vibe is lively too; even if you don’t buy anything, the store atmosphere makes it worth a visit.

Absolutely one of Shimo’s top thrift stops. Go in with time to spare, because odds are you’ll leave with a story and possibly a whole...
