Waffle cafe ORANGE — Restaurant in Tokyo

Update: dropping to 1 star because of shrinkflation (you can see the cup size and waffle width difference in the new photos), unattentive staff and ants in the restroom.

The waffles used to be very soft and fluffy inside, now they are very hard because they are almost half the width... The staff forgot to bring us cuttlery, left the table next to us dirty for close to an hour, and had the air conditioning in full blast towards the tables (food got cold and our eyes got dried out). I asked the staff to turn it down, nothing happened.

Before today, each time we went the place was packed. We thought we were lucky it was empty... But there was a reason why there were almost no customers at NOON. The decor was also updated to a very cold minimalistic look. It isn't the same cafe anymore.

This place is now overpriced and overall not worth it. Very sad.

Love this place. Legitimately the perfect honey lemonade. Also, tried the Black Sesame Banana smoothie was amazing. I'm usually not big on Black Sesame but we killed it because it was so good. The waffle we ate was the Cinnamon Sugar, and it tasted even better than I thought. The waffle was soft and not overly chewy. The outside of the waffle was hard and properly cooked but when you cut into it, felt like butter it was so good. Great food and excellent service from the attentive wait staff. If you are contemplating Flippers, please just skip it and come to Waffle cafe ORANGE instead. In my opinion, no pancakes are worth queuing outside for over 30mins, especially when there are seats available in the cafe, but they just like to make customers wait… The waffles at Waffles cafe ORANGE were delicious, the seats were comfortable and we did not need to wait at all, the waffles and drinks came in 10min.
