JUNGLE Akihabara 1 — Local services in Tokyo

I bought a MG Nu Gundam Ver Ka over a year ago and finally got around to opening it today. Inside was a smaller bag with a third of the gundam already poorly assembled. Checking the runners and some pieces were removed. So it was clearly a used and unfinished gundam. I checked the box for any used indication and none at all. It was wrapped in bad cellophane and clear packaging tape which should’ve been the first indication as gundam kits from Gundam Base stores and most reputable vendors come unwrapped.

Regardless I feel cheated and will never go back to their store or other locations. I’m from LA and I always knew the Jungle stores in Little Tokyo were overpriced and shady but I didn’t expect it at this location too. Guess they’re all liars and cheats. Don’t go to any Jungle. There are far better places to get a better selection of gunpla without getting taken...

I have bought some toys at their Nagoya store. somehow the invoice is incorrect. so I have got charged about 1000yen more. I took the toy first went to their akihabara2 store. I understand they don't speak english.but he just keep saying he can't help me I have to go back to Nagoya.after 3rounds he gave me a phone number for Nagoya store ask me to contact them myself.then I tried again in this store. the staff are much nicer even they don't speak English neither. they spend 20mins to help me contact nagoya store to sort this out, also a tall staff helped me find a toy i wanted for a longtime!good job! I wanna thank these people again. fantastic...

It's a really store for figures and gundam kits. Their prices are very good, better than the big stores for certain. I got a good deal on a Tamashii Nation Street Fighter Figuarts. For me it was great because the AUD is not so strong right now. I wish I bought more, but I will definitely come back next time I am in Tokyo. Don't forget that you can get the tax-free discount! The staff are also very helpful, and even though I only spoke briefly, I think the staff member I dealt with could speak...
