The woman who did my nails was very rude for the majority of the visit. The design I asked for was simple and she did the nails well, but I ended up with a very different color than what I asked for. I will take responsibility for that because I said that the color she made was okay before she applied it. Throughout the visit she seemed annoyed and spoke to me in an irritated tone multiple times. Towards the end of the visit when she was applying the top coat the nail design on one of my fingers started coming off because it had not fully dried. She then proceeded to get visibly frustrated and then blame me for the design not being dry. I did not know that my hands had to be touching the bottom of the dryer for the timer to start working, but she did not explain this to me until the design came off. She then muttered something under her breathe when she had to re-do the simple design on that finger. She probably felt comfortable doing this because she knew that I wouldn’t be able to understand her. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you can’t speak Japanese well. A few days before my appointment, two of my nails broke, and I was really disappointed since I had planned to get a gel manicure on my natural nails. I messaged Kaori right away, and she reassured me that she could fix it—her kindness and professionalism immediately put me at ease. We decided on two nail extensions, which cost extra, but I had no problem with that.
For my 10 nail designs, I showed Kaori 3 inspiration pictures and shared what I liked and disliked. She listened so well, checked in with me every step of the way, and even explained the purpose of each step. Even though I gave her creative freedom, she made sure I was comfortable with every design choice. The level of detail and attentiveness she put into my nails was incredible, and I’m absolutely obsessed with how they turned out! ✨

The staff clearly treated foreign customers differently — they were cold and unwelcoming throughout my visit. Even the simplest design took nearly two hours, which shows a serious lack of skill and efficiency.
What’s worse, they refused to let me choose my own nail design, and forced me to go with a plain color, saying other options were not allowed. I’ve never experienced a salon that limits customer choice so aggressively.
They’re also extremely strict about punctuality. If you’re even slightly late, they become visibly rude and passive-aggressive, showing no understanding or flexibility at all.
None of the staff spoke English, so every single sentence had to go through a translation app. It was a frustrating and time-wasting process, especially for a business that serves international customers.
