🟨 鳴門鯛燒本舖 人形町店 🔵 Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Ningyo-cho
🟨 It took me a long time to gather all these photos of this Ningyo-cho Taiyaki place as these photos were scattered across my ( three) Tokyo FB albums.
🟩 😅 I only know this is a corner Taiyaki store, but I don't know the name's pronunciation in Japanese. ⬛️ I can read the Mandarin kanji or hanzi 汉字 characters. But the name is pronounced differently in Japanese.
● Tonight, I finally piece together all the Taiyaki photos we took in the past 3 trips to Tokyo.
🟧 My hubby and I had visited Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Ningyocho a few times. ● It is a charming and retro looking taiyaki shop located in the heart of Tokyo's Ningyocho district, in Nihonbashi ward.
● Decor = The shop's exterior and interior are simple, with a warm and cosy ambience that makes you feel like you're in a traditional Showa-era Japanese bakery.
🟡 The aroma of freshly baked taiyaki is always wafting through the air when you near the shop.
🔷️ Service-wise = The staff were friendly and welcoming. ● They handled orders efficiently, making the process smooth and enjoyable.
🔴 The taiyaki waffles were perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior giving way to a fluffy interior. 🟡 The fillings were always generous and delicious, with the red bean and custard options being particular standouts.
⬛️ The traditional Japanese waffle's shape, resembling a sea bream, added to the charm.
💛 Overall, I feel that Naruto Taiyaki Honpo Ningyocho is a must-visit for anyone looking to try authentic taiyaki in a cosy and...

Read moreA MUST-GO for your Tokyo trip! Hands down the BEST taiyaki I've ever tasted (I've tasted a lot in Japan). You know GREAT taiyaki when there is filling in the tail. ADzuk is my favourite, but the custard and sweet potato (seasonal for autumn) are delicious too. The customer service is awesome too - we went back for a second takyaki, and they gave us ones fresh from the grill (kindly double wrapped because they were hot) so we could eat them in our hotel room. They were still delicious hot when we got...
