I often come to this cinema because I can watch movies in English and it’s close to my home. But I do have one major complaint—the lack of a proper waiting area before entering the screening rooms. There are only two sofas, which are usually crowded with people and not comfortable at all. Many visitors arrive early, buy their tickets, and then have to wait to be let into the theater, but there’s really no suitable waiting space for them. The sofas aren’t enough, so most people end up standing around near the ticket counters.
I honestly don’t understand why the waiting area hasn’t been expanded. There’s plenty of room to add more tables, chairs, or sofas to make the space more comfortable. It would greatly improve the experience for visitors.
Another issue is the advertising before the film—it goes on for almost 20 minutes! That’s far too long, and sometimes the same ads are even repeated (why show the same thing twice?). It’s exhausting before the movie even starts. Reducing the length of the ads would make a big difference.

They usually have a pretty good selection of movies. In the morning is Japanese dubbed for children if it's a kids movie and in the afternoon evening it's subtitled for adults to watch but that's common in japan. Jr is sakuragicho and mm is minato murai station. You could also order tickets online if needed. If you're in Yokohama this is probably the best theater to go to. And there's a lot of things outside of the theater to do to kill time while you're waiting on your movie or after the movie...

Catching Superman and Kimetsu no Yaiba: Infinite Castle in IMAX here was the cinematic equivalent of being punched in the senses—in the best possible way. The visuals? Crisp enough to slice through reality. The sound? Enough to drown out lingering thoughts of unfinished spreadsheets and skipped nomikai invites. 🤭
This place is dangerously close to my workplace, which makes it too easy to swap corporate chaos for cape crusaders or demon slayers. On a good day, I clock out and teleport straight into another dimension—no after-work beer, no awkward social obligations... just pure popcorn therapy.
I’ll definitely be back when Fantastic Four: First Step lands. It’s become my go-to cinematic pressure valve. Not just a theater—it's...
