UFOREA Indoor Children's Playground — Local services in George Town

We hosted our daughter’s 3rd Birthday party in UFOREA Pg, everyone had a blast including the adults !! The atmosphere is magical & stunning! .Big space & so many different areas & themes to play in , very clean & well kept . We specially love the ‘Play dress up’ area ,where kids get to choose so many different beautiful dresses & interesting outfits & shoes ,& hairdo to take pictures . When we saw our little daughter walked in to the party room after the ‘make over’, we were in complete aww & very impressed . We also love the ‘Space’ theme ball pit,where we feel like we were in some where magical under the beautiful bright moon ! All the stuff are very attentive & efficient . We had Kai Ying (Pear) & also Kai Shiuan that helped us coordinate from food & birthday cake, to balloon decorations & the colorful digital screen displayed with my precious daughter’s pictures in our party . We were extremely happy when we saw the whole set up in the party room ! We were also very impressed with the quality of food that they catered .For our party , we ordered fried rice ,curry chicken , spring rolls , mix veg, chicken nuggets ,mini egg croissants , puffs, mix fruit tart & variety of Nyonya kueh . Being Penang people & a foodie family with high expectation in food ,everyone love the food !! Especially the curry chicken & the nyoya kueh are loved by everyone . Everything & every stuff in UFOREA have passed & beyond our expectation . For us living in Sg & only coordinate everything through hp with Kai Ying & Kai Shiuan , the staffs & UFOREA have really impressed us . They truly make our celebration a special & unforgettable one! Everyone left with great impression ,happy memory & a happy stomach 😁 Now even some of my adult guests thinking of hosting their party...

Clean and tidy with lots of workers.

Downside is its main mode of language is mandarin, and followed by english. You can observe this by listening to the nursery rhymes played over the speaker. I presume that's why the 5 stars in the review section are mostly from mandarin speaking parent.

Even if you tried speaking Bahasa Malaysia at the ticketing counter, they won't understand a word and will reply in English regardless (unless you speak mandarin, where they will reply exactly in mandarin, weird right?). None of the workers are malaysian i guess.

Luckily there are still signs of home in the reading section, with several kids storybooks in our beloved national language.

5 stars for being clean and tidy. 2 stars for lack of national identity around the playground area + staff. 5 stars for the makeup/dressup staff. 2 stars for unmaintained toys.

P/s: i believed they first begin opening the place around october 2024. But signs of broken toys and toys without batteries have started to appear already (which are still left around the play area and are not maintained, sadly).

Attention parents with babies: the sand pits are not suitable for babies or toddlers below 3 yo. They can easily swallow...

This new indoor playground UFOREA is really nice and ideal for playful kids to spend their happy cheerful moments during leisure time. Such a colourful playground with kids' favorite macaron colours. One of the highlight parts of this playground is their unlimited free changing dress-up session with only paying the entrance ticket, then kids can enjoy the fun and beauty as well as all other facilities in the playground.

Compared to other indoor playgrounds in Penang, this UFOREA is relatively more friendly to children under 12 months old. Other facilities of course include various slides, trampolines, sand pools, climbing areas, and various role-playing.

It is worth mentioning that there is also a reading area and a parent rest area with several CCTV screens with power plugs 🔌 places for charging! Parents or guardians can take a break or work temporarily when they are tired, and they can take a look at their children playing through CCTV.

Their ball pit area with a space theme is really amazing. Birthday party buffet service also available upon request. In overall, UFOREA is worth visiting whenever your kids would like to play and relax with fun during their...
