We wanted a place to spend the day in Cozumel, and this was a winner! Only about 4 blocks from our cruise port (Carnival corp, the southern-most one), and even closer to the other major port. All-inclusive (except, bring a towel!) and limited in how many they accept per day. There were about 3 dozen there the day we went. I use a mobility scooter, and they had a ramp to get down to the seating/pool area. Pool & chairs are part in sun, part in shade, so you can choose. I can't really walk in beach sand, but I love to snorkel, so the stairs down into the water were perfect for me, and the rocky shallows meant there were a lot of fish to see. (Wear non-slip surf shoes, the stairs get slippery.) The staff were so attentive! They were always on hand to get food and drinks. All the food was great, and came in snack-size servings, so you can try a lot of things but not waste much. The drinks flowed freely! In between staying hydrated with soft drinks, I loved their mojitos. And you could order off-menu combos, e.g. Kahlua & ice cream. YUM! All but 5 of the crowd that day were over 40, and we noticed that the their DJ catered to us, playing country & classic rock. And the pool was wonderful! Ledges all around, to sit and chat (or just chill & drink) and enjoy the sea just a few feet away. Probably cheaper for our day there, than if we had spent the day shopping. We...

Let's be honest.. We all chose this place because it's $45 and close to the Port. Most places are rip-off Gringo spots for like $80, so I'm not saying it's the worst, but you get what you pay for.

PROS Walking distance from the Port, but in the hot, hot heat, a .2 miles walk still feels like forever (about 10 minutes AFTER you can get out of the tourist trap area - 20 min total) Great Service - our waitress came around every 10 minutes and was very attentive (we did have to ask for extra shots in every drink... but they were accommodating) Nice, clean bathrooms

CONS No Sand Beach. It is basically at the marina, so it is NOT the pristine, beautiful, calm waters that you expect form Cozumel. When the boats pass by, the waves reek havoc and the smell from the engines is pretty strong. Ew. Because there is no sand or beach, it is quite a treacherous entry into the ocean. They have 4 very steep steps into the ocean with only a loose, wiggley rope for support, so it can be violent and slippery when getting in - my friend fell and really hurt his knee and foot. Not ideal for a relaxing swim. They didn't have the "good" food on the menu that they advertise (No Coconut Shrimp) They did, however, have day old guacamole and teeny, tiny cheese quesadillas.

Will not be returning.. but they...

Mrs. T.R. in a group of 3 , spent a relaxing day off our cruise ship Carnival Valor. Since the two other ladies had some limiting walking abilities, they chose to arrive by taxi, which was new to us, since we have always just walked from our cruise terminal...check in with our printed reservation confirmation was easy and quick. We chose places to sit under umbrellas in padded loungers and were soon enjoying our first round of delicious frozen drinks. Our server "J" was attentive and friendly, she is absolutely a joy to spend your day with! The Gulf waters were beautifully clear (and thankfully calm for snorkeling with our own gear). Fresh water showers make rinsing the sea salt away easy or if you are too warm, a great way for a quick cool down. The infinity pool is also a good place to just hang out and relax with friends, with a cool drink, or just taking in those beautiful views. When it's time for snacks or lunch, you can sample or fill up, the menus are wonderful! Do not miss the seafood ceviche or the coconut shrimp, I highly recommend both! The bathrooms and handwash areas are convenient and clean. Del Mar Latino Beach Club does have some rules, so be sure and read all of the details; Reservation/Deposit, Minimum Age, Limited Number of Entry, etc. ...

We had a good experience here with the all inclusive day pass. It was within walking distance from the Carnival port straight down the sidewalk along the main roadway. If you reserved online and paid a deposit just walk down the entrance ramp to the bar and they will check you in and give you a wrist band. They found my reservation by name but it would also be a good idea to have the receipt pulled up on your phone. We started with lunch and ended up trying several of the dishes including nachos, tacos, guacamole and chips and they were all excellent. It is a small plate type of service so order a few different things There was a variety of seating from table and chairs to loungers, from full sun to full shade. The infinity pool is nice and it is partly covered. The pool had perimeter underwater benches giving a nice shady area to hang out in. Our waitress was very attentive and kept the beer flowing all afternoon. If you are looking for a sandy beach then this probably isn't the spot for you. The entrance took you straight into the water and most who entered were only there for snorkeling. If you want to visit somewhere with good food, good drinks and a nice oceanfront pool this covers all the bases. It is certainly a good value and we plan to come back on our next trip to Cozumel.

My husband and I went here while in Cozumel on our Cruise. This place was perfect. Walking distance from the port, we paid $29 per person for a day of relaxation which included all you can eat and drink. The drinks were delicious and the food was amazing. Some of the best coconut shrimp I've ever had. All of the staff members were polite and the services was quick. The bathrooms were clean and easy to access. There were plenty of loungers and it was not crowded at all. The loungers and pool overlooked the ocean and you could see all the cruise ships. Half of the pool was shaded and half was not which made it very nice to soak in the sun and then have some shade while still soaking in the pool. There were stairs that led down into the ocean, although a bit rocky, it was perfect for snorkeling. We wore our water shoes and had no problem getting around the rocks. It was actually pretty cool to see all the fish coming in and out of the rocks and watch some of them feed off the algae. I would highly recommend this beach club and plan to visit here again!
