Jungle by Tikila — Restaurant in San Miguel de Cozumel

One of the absolute highlights of the stay on Cozumel….food was simply great every time… Ok except I didn’t see the word squid !! ;) But seriously …prices … really good … Food … great view and atmosphere …exceptional….. but the best part….??? Their staff …period… from the guys who prepared my food , to the most polite young man , helping out because he wants to pay for his own phone ….to our waitress , Marianna who was always on it , not to mention educating me and tolerating my jokes … To the best bartender ever … and I don’t even drink !! Angiie , god love her , and me too !!,kept us hydrated and taught me soo much about the island and its workings … Soooooo , don’t mess this one up ! If you’re on the island …don’t miss this place ….. period… And breakfast is right across...

We went here twice during our recent Cozumel trip. The first night we were there just for drinks and to take advantage of their free wifi to watch a rugby game online. We sat out on the deck/patio overlooking the water. Service was friendly. View was great. Drinks were cold.

We went back another night not realizing that it wouldn't have the same menu as Tikila does during the day (we were going back for more of Tikila's delish nachos). The server explained it is Jungle at night (not Tikila), but he accommodated us. He talked to the cook and had him make us up a great dish of nachos.

Ship came in late due to issues so we decided to find something close to eat. After walking and seeing Jungle by Tikila’s menu we decided to take a chance on this local place and wow we were amazed at how wonderful the food was.
