La Mia Pasta Budva — Restaurant in Budva

I really had high hopes for this place, but unfortunately the food was very disappointing. The carbonara came completely dry – no sauce at all, just overcooked pasta and confused bits of bacon. I also tried the arrabbiata, and it made me feel physically sick – I actually ended up vomiting shortly after. The flavors were bland, the seasoning was almost non-existent, and the bacon was oddly soft and rubbery instead of crispy.

To make matters worse, the meal gave me serious stomach issues afterwards. And considering the price – it was shockingly expensive for such poor quality – it felt like a complete waste of money. I don’t usually write negative reviews, but I felt this experience needed to be shared. I hope the kitchen takes this feedback seriously and makes some much-needed...

Considering that I ate hundreds of good pastas in the half year I lived in Italy, I think I know well how is good pasta.

We came here with my friend on recommendation from several people. We ate the pasta with pesto sauce and arrabbiata sauce.

🌟 The handmade pasta is really good, I loved pasta dough!! 🌟

👎🏼👎🏼 But I don’t have same thinking about their souce. Arrabbiata isn’t a true arrabbiata, its spicy taste was barely felt. I don't think the pesto sauce is good either, unfortunately. If I come here again, I would prefer to eat their pasta without the choice of sauce.
