Cafe Beatrice — Restaurant in Budva

We came here to have breakfast for my friends birthday and had the worst experience! We came and there were no tables so came back 30 mins later and after waiting 10 mins got a table. Before this he let a table of 7 go before us when we were told we couldn't sit inside. Next thing we know these women are arguing with the waiter and he comes over saying that the wait is really really long (basically trying to convince us to leave so these women can sit there). When we said it's fine he then took 15 mins to clear the table and we had to ask for the menus multiple times. Finally he comes over and says the food will be ages when we asked to order. We felt super unwelcome and he kept looking over at us as we waited. we finally decided to leave without ordering. It is a shame as the food looked really nice but we were made to feel like a burden and it was just a horrible start to the day. We discovered Cafe Beatrice by chance in Budva, and it turned out to be unforgettable. Today we only had Turkish coffee, but it was absolutely perfect — rich flavor, beautiful presentation, and probably the best I’ve had in a long time. What made the experience even more special was the lovely couple working there. They were incredibly warm and welcoming — we felt like we were visiting friends rather than just stopping for a coffee. I recently visited this fantastic cafe and was thoroughly impressed by the quality of food and service. One standout item on the menu was the cheese toast, which was absolutely delicious—crispy on the outside and perfectly melted on the inside.
