My wife ordered the Beef and Potato wedges, and I ordered the Classic steak with vegetables and Greek salad. We requested that all of our dishes be served at the same time. The Greek salad arrived first, but we waited for a long time for the rest of our food. We assumed that our main courses were on the way, but they never came. We asked the waiter about the delay, and he explained that they were very busy. We understood the situation and didn't mind waiting a bit longer. I've had Greek salad in many different places, including Greece, Canada, USA , Croatia, Albany, Cuba, Mexico. I've always found Greek salad to be a delicious and refreshing dish. However, the Greek salad at this restaurant was not up to par. It had an unusual combination of ingredients, including pickles olives, which I didn't find to be very appealing. Overall, I was not impressed with the salad. We inquired about our orders again, and after 25 minutes, the rest of our food was finally served. The total waiting time for our meal was 40 minutes. The service was very slow. In fact, the people at the table next to us, who came in after us, had already finished their meals and were enjoying dessert by the time our food arrived. I was very disappointed with the slow service. I would give this restaurant a rating of 2 out of 5 stars for service. When our food arrived, I was immediately disappointed with the presentation of the steak. It was haphazardly placed on the plate and looked very unappealing. The cut of the meat was also uneven. One part of the steak was thick, while the rest was thin. This resulted in uneven cooking, with the thin part being overcooked and the thick part being cooked to my liking. The steak was also very disappointing in terms of taste. It was completely bland and lacked any seasoning. I had to add salt and pepper just to make it edible. I would say it was the worst steak I've ever had. My wife's, the issue with the order was using too much rosemary in the beef and potato wedges. She couldn't taste anything apart from the rosemary on the plate. This is an unacceptable situation. We would give this restaurant a rating of 1 out of 5 stars for our orders. I would like to point out that We don't give 1 star to other items on the menu in general. Only for the classic steak and beef with potato wedge. P.S Cooking method: In general, in Montenegro, if you see the word "grill" on a restaurant menu, know that it may not always be grilled. It is...
Read moreWorst service I ever experienced in my gastro-life. I got the tomato soup (which by the way tasted like watered down thick tomato paste) and asked for a bread. After eating 2 slices of it, I realized it was MOLDY - couldn't really see it, on the table was just a tiny little lamp and was still pretty dark there. Once I told the waiter about it, he took it without saying a word and didn't come back for another 5 minutes, so I thought there's gonna be no more bread coming. But then out of nowhere, I got the burger bun cut into pieces - too bad I already ate my soup. Despite the fact, that it was disgusting, things like this can happen - the problem was the behaviour and handling the situation. From the moment I signalised something is wrong, they started to complete ignore us, like we never existed. And I have to say, I was being very polite, just pointed out the problem. We had to wait for the receipt, because clearly no one from the staff wanted to approach us. Once they did, didn't ask if everything was okay, just "can I take your plate?". The moment of paying finally came, I explained the situation and now here comes the most beautiful moment. I asked if there's something they can do for me as a compensation. The waiter said: "we didn't charge the bread" and then started to explain me the process of them getting and storing the bread - the story is touching, but this is none of my concern. You serve this food to people, is your responsibility to take care of it. I ended up paying for my soup and a drink, got no compensation whatsoever - just a very dry...
Read more“The most passive aggressive waiter in the country” award goes to an older guy working at this restaurant. At first, he messed up the order and brought still wine instead of sparkling we ordered - but that happens and it’s fine, it was only a small bottle and the still one was okay anyway. Then, my friend didn’t like the salad. When the waiter asked us if we liked the food, she started to explain what she didn’t like, but the waiter didn’t even hear her out and ran away. It was very odd. Next time he came, he added “we are trying so hard and people still aren’t satisfied” and ran away again. I paid with card and we were sitting there maybe 5-10 minutes after that. Then, the most outrageous thing happened. The waiter came, opened the receipt holder and checked if we left him any tips while staying right in front of us! We hadn’t even left the place at this point! And he didn’t deserve them anyway! Then, he immediately became agitated and started to clean the table while we were still sitting behind it - taking everything nervously, he even took papers underneath me while my arms were on the table and crammed them in front of me. I’ve never experienced anything like that and that seemed funny at the time but later I understood that I felt offended. We didn’t say a single bad thing to him to deserve that. And it was my birthday....
