The guide Ronald (from the Amsterdam: Historical Walking Tour plus Tasting spoke very low and it was difficult to understand him considering that all the streets were very crowded and it was raining. He did not wait for all the group participants to catch up to him before starting talking. At the end when I asked about the local products tasting that they tell it's included in the tour, he mocked me and said that we had a peppernut when we entered into a store recommended by him, but the owners gave out a free small sample to everybody that walked into the store. Considering that it was promoted like a tasting of local products, I expected to include more than one small candy that I could have received even if I wouldn't have paid this tour. But the thing that bothered me the most was the lackof explanation from the guide and the fact that he mocked me saying that "you already ate a peppernut". I am the customer and I don't thing is normal to be mocked when I ask a question about something that was mentioned in the description of...
Read moreWe were booked with two tours through this tour agency. One was cancelled before the date. On two different occasions I received written assurance that 360 Amsterdam Tours had initiated the refund. Almost a month later, I realized the refund had not gone through. I called up Airbnb Experiences to discover that 360 had never cancelled the tour. I guess they thought we would forget about it.

Once that was clarified (I pulled out my proof of purchase) the tour was decent. The tour guide was knowledgable and friendly, although it was sometimes hard to hear her because she was soft-spoken and the company does not use QuietVox earphones so people can easily listen. Helpful Hint: don't check in your coat at the coat check in the Rijks, as the lines can get very long by noon or 1pm. Use the...
Read moreA free tour! Sounds pretty good, well it was! We learnt a lot, saw a lot, walked a lot and had a lot of fun whilst doing it. Lots of things we would have just walked past were pointed out, lots of history was revealed and we had a great time.
Robin was excellent: thorough, approachable and funny and had a lot of stories regarding the city, she waited for us when we got stuck behind crossing the road and spoke to everyone in the group.
The free tour works on a tips system, we had limited funds and wish we could have given her more, as she deserved more than what we could afford. (Robin: we'll come back, find you and do it again!!)
The 360 amsterdam office is open for help, enquiries, printing or just a loo (which is great as most places will...
