My first time in Amsterdam and for long time I did not buy diamond for myself since I am taking care of my parents who are both bedridden. I stop buying jewelry since I am the one spending for the expenses for them . My mother had a brain operation and was comatose for 10years and my father had a stroke for 4 years. But in 2014 both my parents pass away. My dream come true , when I travel for the first time in Europe. I love to buy a diamond ring again but sad to say that the first ring that I bought from the Mill Diamond was lost in Paris in Lafayette Mall. I feel very sad since for so many years this is only time, I decided to buy for myself as a gift . Going back in my country with nothing and I told myself that I want to have that ring again. So I decide to write an email to the Mill Diamond telling them that I lost it. Not knowing that they will response to my email and did not know that Maurice will response whose the owner of the shop. I decide to ask him is it possible to buy ring and send to my country. He told me it’s possible but it my be costly since it pass through a lot of charges. Then I ask him if this can be delivered to Germany since my brother in law’s nephew live there and he will be visiting Manila this December. We keep on communicating with Maurice and I told him to find me a good quality diamond ring and he send me a picture . He told me that the quality of this is better than my lost ring but a little bit less in size that the first one . We been send emails on how payment will be made and I told him that I will transfer funds through PNB bank to credit his account with Rabo bank and happy to say that he also gave me a discount since I can no longer take the tax refund. I am so happy and finally the ring is now with me on December 15,2019 . I would like to thank Maurice, Candido and Althea for making this possible. Merry Christmas to all. After being proposed too and my fiancée telling me I could design my own ring, I didn’t even know where to begin! We arrived in Amsterdam at Rokin station round the corner from our hotel and walked past Mill Diamonds. We randomly dropped in and it was then I knew straight away I wanted my ring from this shop. Maurice spent so much time with us, explaining all there is to know about diamonds and helping me find what it was I liked and disliked. Maurice’s level of knowledge for Gemmology was just amazing. He is a true expert of his trade. It was this reason why we made an appointment and went back the next day to fully design the ring, place the order and begin the process. Over the following weeks Maurice sourced the diamonds and continue to keep in touch over messages and emails with regards to the designs. He worked to our engagement party date to make sure we had the ring in time. The day I picked up my ring, again Maurice spent so much time helping us with every decision. I am so lucky to be able to have designed my own ring but without Maurice and The Mill Diamonds the whole experience could have been so different. What can I say! Absolutely amazing staff. I have never experienced such level of customer support in my life. After I chose the ring I spent over an hour in the shop. Patiently they answered all my questions, took me through the whole process of making the ring from raw diamond to the setting the stone in the ring. Talked me through specifications important for diamond quality. Basically I left the place with empty wallet but smile on my face and much smarter.

The ring I chosen had to be made as they didn't have exactly what I wanted. I paid up front left the shop and came back to my country (Ireland). The lady that sold me the ring kept me up to date through the whole process of making the ring, (even sent me the photos of the ring being made!)so I was informed all the time what was happening with it. Once the ring was made she sent me the pictures of it and my god it was perfect!.

Lastly they sent the ring with Fedex. Delivery was fast (24h) tracking perfect ( I knew where was the ring at all times).

They also added freeof charge servicing of the ring whenever we will be in Amsterdam.

To summ things up: Absolutely amazing shop and people wirking in it. Very friendly, helpful and easy to talk to. I highly recommend this shop to anyone! Especially if you know little about diamonds and you are uncertain about what you want, this is a great place to go!
