Visiting The LEGO® Store in Amsterdam was such a fun and memorable experience! Whether you're a lifelong LEGO fan or just curious, this place is definitely worth a stop. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with bright colors, creativity, and a playful energy that instantly lifts your mood.
One of the highlights for me was the incredible LEGO artwork displayed around the store. Some of the mosaic-style portraits and detailed models — all made entirely from LEGO bricks — were absolutely mind-blowing. It’s amazing to see how much detail and personality they manage to capture with just small plastic bricks. You can spend a good amount of time just admiring the displays.
The store itself is very well-organized and spacious, making it easy to explore different themes and collections. Whether you're into Star Wars, Harry Potter, architecture sets, or classic bricks, there’s something for everyone. The Pick & Build wall is also a fun and interactive touch.
The staff were friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about what they do, which made the visit even better.
Overall, this isn’t just a store — it’s an experience. If you’re in Amsterdam and love creativity, don’t miss it. I left with a smile and a small set to...

From giant mosaic portraits to insanely detailed models—all made from LEGO bricks—it’s hard not to be amazed. Some of the artwork can even blink their eyes, which is such a cool touch!
It was a bit crowded when I visited on a Sunday afternoon, but there were plenty of staff around, which helped keep things running smoothly. Everyone was super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do.
A special shoutout to the team—I accidentally dropped my brand-new NS card (used it only once from Eindhoven to Amsterdam) while walking around the store, and someone kindly handed it in. The staff actually found me and returned it. So grateful!
The store’s layout makes it easy to explore, whether you’re into Star Wars, Harry Potter, or classic sets.
My boyfriend is a huge LEGO fan but wasn’t with me this time—if he ever visits Amsterdam, I’m definitely...
Read moreProbably the most costumer friendly store I have ever been in. The Staff are very friendly. Welcoming you when you enter. Tailor to your needs. Spend loads of time on your questions and wishes. Now with Covid19 the PAB (pick a brick wall) is handled by that staff. And I send the guy like 8th times around the column. (While I was being apologetic about that) he didn't mind at all. The wall itself is very well stocked too. I asked if I was allowed to stack my bricks to get a better deal I got permission at first hand. Which they did later retract but instead gave me a 9,95 discount on a small cup of bricks. When I came down stairs to leave. They asked me what set I bought and were genuinely happy for me I got it. When they noticed I pulled a bigshopper bag from my backpack they offered me even a extra big Lego store bag. To keep from the rain. All with all I would give 10/10 stars. But I only am allowed to grant 5 stars so. If you ever are nearby. Please do pay...
