A popular Dutch café with a terrace and a partial view of the canal. Excellent location, just opposite the canal tour boats and a 5 minute walk to Dam square, Kalverstraat, the Royla Palace and Amsterdam's central station. Apart from the regular menu, they also offer plates for sharing with "bitterballen" typical Dutch bar food, a small cheese plate, olives and more. One of my favorites, on a chilly days, is the hot chocolate with lots of fresh whipped cream. If you want an added kick, ask for a splash of rum and that will keep you warm on a chilly Dutch day. The steak sandwich was good, so was the omelett, the portion sizes are really big. The salad on the plate was also soo good, had a nice dressing.
