Fukuoka Garden — Attraction in Waitematā

Very disappointing to say the least.

You take about 20 steps through the gate to a deck where you look out over a little garden. You can't go into the garden, because that is under lock and key for some reason.

Many people jumped the railing to go and see the flowers and little waterfall up close. I'm too old and overweight for that, otherwise I would have done the same.

I went for the cherry blossoms, but there were none.

The whole thing was a waste of time and money, considering I also have to pay...

A nice lovely garden established by Auckland City Council and Fukuoka City Council as part of sister city programme between the two cities.
