I have eaten here before when I was living nearby about 7 years ago. This week I stayed at a nearby motel for a night and decided to come here again for dinner. I ordered the prawn egg foo yong. What I got was disappointing to say the least. The outside was brown, it was basically burnt - yet parts of the centre were still runny egg which was like eating slime. There was no flavour to speak of so the only redeeming feature was the prawns. For $18 I could have got something tastier and more filling from the local BK. I don't know if the standard of the rest of the food is as bad, but I certainly won't be ordering this dish again from here.

Just because I can't reply to your answer as you've blocked it... here's my constructive feedback... cook your food properly!!!! everything was under cooked, chicken was practically running out from chow mein, nearly lost a tooth on raw noodles and my son hasn't stopped throwing up all day..... we've made a complaint and hope they actually close you down. Before moving into the area, I will Admit I checked Google reviews about this store before my first order - there were some upset reviews as is common on this platform. I will just say that having now lived locally for 2+ years, white horse takeaways is by far my number 1 choice for takeaway food in the mount Eden area!!!! Whether you choose "tried and true" chip shop staples, or the less common - but fantastic - chefs specials (the kung Pao chicken especially).... They are consistently brilliant, especially compared to several similar takeaways I would frequent before moving here....
