This was the highlight meal of my trip. I had been hankering for crepes since before I arrived! A few earlier attempts at scratching this itch had been underwhelming (and what is it with banoffee crepes in NZ!). This little cafe is in a beautiful suburban area of Auckland not too far away from so descent sized green spaces. And doggo friendly (back deck area). There are both inside and outside seating options. We choose outside which is at the rear and sheltered by plastic screens. Crepe options here are truly drool worthy. Of course, my heart was set on one without Nutella but really liked the toasted coconut idea... no problem at all ... homemade caramel and toasted coconut crepe coming up! And it was delish! My cousin had the egg dish option and also agreed this was the best breakfast of the 2-week trip (perfectly made, generous and tasty!). I also ordered a hashbrown as we were curious as to the difference between hashbrown and hash cake ... see photos. Both perfectly golden and yum. I will definitely be seeking this cafe out...

We also had the Classic Breakfast which they do really well with good quality ciabatta.
This place is well worth stopping at if you’re looking for a good place in Mt Eden. There is also plenty of parking on...

I asked to have it redone and got another cold piece of rubber with some slices of cold banana. It must’ve been pre-made and pulled out of the fridge. Horrid. I could’ve patched up my wetsuit with it. Crêpes should be light, slightly crispy around the edges and served fresh and hot. How can you get this so wrong?! It’s 1 of the easiest...
