The Food Crew — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

First impressions were ok. Coffee was great. Tea was fantastic. 5 stars on the coffee. Rosti with benedicts was delicious. But my vegetarian dish was cooked in bacon pan. Bacon flavour all the way through it. Meatballs undercooked. Forgot the roast potatoes with meal. Then microwaved a bowl of boiled potatoes. No special treatment given to them at all. Both meals had 1 overcooked poached egg. Fries were nice and Large portion for the price. We ate all our food because we are tight and still appreciate that you are doing your job, and do not want to complain in front of other patrons.

Advice: if menu states roast potatoes, please give roast potatoes. Or at least chuck them in the deep fryer for a bit to give the illusion that theyre roasted. Check temp on meatballs. Dont microwave potatoes, and no kids in the kitchen. Sorry team but as a chef myself Was quite dissapointed. Husband feels like we cheated on Kreme. Service and smiles were great. Goodluck...

Don't like giving out bad reviews and prefer to focus on positives. However when you return a dish because its inedible and then get charged for it all I can do is hope others learn from our mistake. The staff member didn't even have the decency to tell us they were charging us for it either. The Egg omelette was literally sitting in a pool of oil and the toast and tissues couldn't absorb it all. It was literally inedible. Staff said "there is a cost to them making it' which they have to on charge. Where I come from things need to meet a basic standard and this was not edible nor saleable so to charge us for it was fraudulent. Other 3 breakfasts were ok and eaten and paid for without complaint. Such appalling service that our first visit will most definitely be our last. We will also be telling everyone we know to stay clear of the food crew and go elsewhere...

Nice big curly brow-lash in my food 🤮 Knives - dirty. Ordered a quiche and toast with mince and poached egg. Waited a long time. Food arrived so far apart, quiche was finished, and we're ready to go, when the toast arrives... Quiche was packed inside with cubed potatoes - good cost saving move there guys! Poached egg was basically solid inside - over-done. The cutlery on the table was not the cleanest. Knife looked like it was used before. Greasy and crumb on it. I check next table over - no knife. Tried to put pepper on the mince - pepper grinder is empty. Then, couple of bytes into the mince, and the hair pops out. We just left - disgusted. 1 star - cause the ordering process went flawless and quick, and taking my money went exceptionally smoothly, else would...
