Muffin Break Northwest — Restaurant in Henderson-Massey

Ordered 3 muffins and 2 coffees to go, asked the shop assistant if she could please cut 2 of the muffins in half as we were eating on the go in the car, she said she would put a plastic knife in the bag for me to do it. I had to ask for a tray to carry the coffees, it was clear I had a toddler with me and I told her I had to cross a rd to get to my car. The coffees were burnt and tasted gross, was a waste of money. Also 1 of the muffins had so many nuts in it that it crumbled into small bits when I tried to cut it in half, another savoury 'spinach and feta' muffin had 1 tiny piece of feta in it. I normally buy muffins from this place for my kids because they love them, I have tasted them and they are very good as well. I asked for a jug of water for my kids, then had to ask for two glasses as well, as the girl did not think to give me glasses for water. She opened up the dishwasher and gave me the most disgusting dirty looking glasses for my kids. They look old not washed and there was no way I was going to let my kids drink out of them. Terrible. Short mannered staff lacking any friendliness from the get go. Exorbitantly priced coffees which they clearly forgot my order and despite staff standing around staring into space while I sat there waiting patiently for a simple flat white, it still took nearly 15mins to be made. Brought to me eventually without a sorry or any acknowledgement. Tables not wiped down crumbs galore. Overpriced and underdelivered....
