We have been consistently coming here regularly in the last few years, from when they were still named as Hansan to later re-named to Golden Viet (although still under the same umbrella group as Hansan). We always order the raw & cooked beef pho. At least in the last couple years or so, I found they have changed the type of cut for their cooked beef as it's always very fatty. Most of the cooked beef pieces have a big chunk of fat on them and I usually bite those off and just eat the rest. On our visit today however, ALL the cooked 'beef' in my bowl were all fat. Pieces and pieces of just fat, couldn't eat any of it. My partner's one wasn't that much better neither. We got a separate small bowl to put all the pieces of fat that got picked out and it was full. When I went to pay, I said to the lady (an older lady) I wanted to give some feedbacks. Explained it but she didn't understand it so she got a younger girl to come and talk to me. I explained it again and said I just want you feed this back to the kitchen/chef. Instead of taking it onboard and say something like 'thanks and I will let the chef know', she got a little bit defensive and said something like 'oh we buy a big piece of cut, we can't control what meat we get'. Yes but you can control what you serve and you can choose not to serve something that is not up to scratch. You can portion out the fat rather than serving all fat to one customer. Read moreI am quite disappointed with Hansen on Uber Eats. Before anyone blames Uber Eats, this has nothing to do with the delivery or the time frame. Basically, when I ordered 'Raw Beef Pho' - Anyone who eats Raw Beef Pho should know the beef is cut into thin slices and therefore once it touches the soup, it instantly cooks the raw beef. So once I ordered the Pho noodle soup, the beef was overly cooked and it was pretty much well done. I believe as I ordered as 'Raw', Hansan team should have separated the soup. If this was the case, shouldnt Hansan just take out of the Uber Eats menu as 'raw beef pho' and just mention only ''Well done'' available? What a let down. I was also unsatisfied due to the order, I felt like there was no care in the service. Where was the bean sprouts or lemon for the soup ? The noodles arrived stuck together, that I had to reheat and the noodles became mushy.
I also ordered the two fresh prawn rolls. It looked like a person who put it together had no care in that service. The rolls were lacking flavour and it was overall a bad service. I will not be ordering this again on UberEats and may not even want to eat at Hansan again as we spent about $50 (Take into account my partner also ordered his food but im only giving feedback...
