I want to say a huge thank you to the staff who helped my son this morning after he was pushed into a pond in town on his way to work and was soaking wet and shaken. He said you guys were so caring and sympathetic. He is super pleased with the trousers and socks you helped him pick out and highly recommends you guys. I popped into Area51 while on a short trip to Wellington and was really impressed.

They’ve got an awesome mix of brands like Norse Projects and Stone Island, plus some great NZ ones like Commoners. The store is super well curated, and everything feels like it’s been chosen with care.

Tom was super helpful when I was on the hunt for a t-shirt—and even recommended an amazing spot for dinner, which totally hit the mark.

Most stores have moved away from gift vouchers that expire after 12 months. Area51 still do this and when asked today about a voucher that was 13 months old - ie just one month over their expiry I was told there was no flexibility. Essentially, they've had our money for 12 months and now they will keep it. Not sure that this is fair in anyone's book. Area51 need to rethink this and how they deal with customers - very...
