HELL Pizza Cuba Street — Restaurant in North Island

Very unfortunate for me. I went in and specifically ordered a vegetarian pizza. I began to eat it, when I found some truly disturbing content. It contained pig meat.

I understand that people make mistakes. But this isn't like red peppers vs green peppers. Roughly 40% of the world's population are adherents of various faiths for which pig meat is an absolute prohibition. So real care has to be taken when taking orders and making food like this. Looking at other reviews, this is far from an isolated incident. Meat in vegetarian pizza's seems to be an established problem here.

I hadn't realised it was there until after I had consumed a slice. Not only am I left shocked and sickened to my core, but I now have to undertake some significant recompense to correct the transgression spiritually.

To their credit, staff were apologetic and did provide a refund when asked. But please guys, keep in mind the care that needs to be taken when taking orders in a place that also does meat versions of things. This does cause genuine harm.

Update: Below they have they said they want to make things right and to email them on the email address given. Did that a week ago and no one has bothered to get back to me. So this whole contact us to make it right thing is just for show here on the...

The most lovely staff and food ever!! I get hells every week and today I went in a had to wait a few minutes. It was no problem as they were SLAMMED, but they apologised and offered me a complimentary drink! So so lovely! The food was excellent as always and so worth the price. So many places are stingy with their toppings but hells never is ESPECIALLY this one. 10/10 every time I’ve spent half my pay check there and it feeds me for dinner and lunch the next day. Wish I caught his name but thank you for your lovely service! As someone who works in customer facing work I really appreciate kind service and I know the people you can sometimes be faced...

I’m sorry, but even if you order through Uber eats, when a delivery order arrives squashed down the bottom of the box with the toppings on the lid and completely inedible, you should deliver another pizza for free. The staff I spoke to were friendly but not at all helpful. The only resolution I was given was to pay for my order in full again and they could offer me free delivery...not good enough. I now am $35 out of pocket with no dinner for myself and my partner. Will never be ordering...
